Go Ninja On Public PC’s

Today’s idea is a bit in the ‘grey area’ of things – so don’t do something stupid. In fact, pretend that I’m there, standing over your shoulder, dressed like a Nun and wielding a ruler. Would I whack you, or turn a blind eye for what you’re about to do?

And now: The idea.

Computers are everywhere: Stores, libraries, in a friend’s home during a party, and on and on. Most of them are locked up tighter than Fort Knox, but not all of them. If you find one that’s manipulatable, open the browser and go to your web site. Then, walk away.

If you’re even luckier, make your site the home page. And – again – walk away.

Imagine if your web site is seen by all of the shoppers or passers-by (until someone changes it – but hopefully they’re lazy.) It’s a cheap way to get eyeballs on your business, without really hurting anything – or anyone. And the ASPCA won’t even bug you, because no animals were harmed.
