Review Your Way To Fame! (All Right – Maybe That’s An Oversell)

Many bookseller websites allow you to write reviews of books. Did you know that?

“So what, who cares?” you might say.

Well, what if you’ve purchased books from them? Most likely, they are books about things that interest you, or that you enjoy. Once the book is read, take advantage of these stars aligning around you and write a review. Now here’s the spin: within the review, find a way to tie it back to you, or the product or service you offer. Now you’ve offered a viable opinion and, if done well and in an interesting and concise manner, you might even get folks you don’t even know interested in what you’ve written.

Been buying books on-line for years? Many on-line providers have a ‘purchase history’ area. Use it. Review EVERY BOOK you’ve ever purchased there. All of them.

As a marketing tool, it’s a bit of a stretch. But it is one more way to get yourself noticed – with zero cost to you.
